Sellersburg Halloween Statement

We know COVID-19 as a new normal has been tough, especially on the kids. After dealing with this as a community for 7+ months, everyone should understand the importance of wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing, etc. As we make the following statement, we also ask you take personal accountability for the choices made that could have impact on others within the community. The Town of Sellersburg will be having Trick or Treating on October 31, 2020 from 6-9pm, rain or shine. If you are comfortable or not to allow your children to go door-2-door, that is your choice as a parent or guardian. Just as if you are comfortable or not to hand out candy this year, the choice is yours. We ask that you consider pre-planning with people you know to schedule a route for your children instead of the traditional door-2-door method. For your education, the CDC has categorized low, moderate, and high risk Halloween activities.
