Working together for a better community!
The administrative office provides the staff of the Town, as well as the residents of the community, with decision-making and informational source. The office’s chief goal is to ensure the residents of Sellersburg enjoy the highest quality of service possible. The daily affairs and operations of Town Government apart from the Police Department are managed here.
In accordance with IC 36-5-5, the Town Manager serves at the pleasure of the council to manage the daily affairs and operations of the Town. This includes but is not limited to the Sellersburg Water Utility, Sellersburg Wastewater Utility, Street and Sanitation Department. In addition, the Town Manager works with the boards and commissions to communicate the long-term growth visions of the Town Council including business growth and retention. Along with the Chief of Police, the Town Manager reports directly to the Town Council.
Michelle joined the Sellersburg Town team in May of 2017 as the Town Council’s Executive Secretary and now additionally assists the Town Manager. In addition, Michelle oversees the Town’s Human Resources tasks. Most importantly, Michelle works as the first point of contact for residents and visitors, working as a concierge to help make their interaction with the Town positive.
