The Wastewater Department strives to protect and improve the health, welfare, and quality of life for the citizens of the Town of Sellersburg. The Department provides for the collection, treatment, and disposal of wastewater in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations in the most cost-effective manner possible. Wastewater crews respond to over 100 calls each month and are available 24/7, including weekends and holidays.

Bio
Lori holds a Class IV Wastewater Operator’s license with the State of Indiana, she has been in WW operations since late 2005. She started doing wastewater laboratory testing for the City of Jeffersonville and proceeded to earn a Class II Wastewater license in 2009. Assisted in the operations of the City of Jeffersonville Downtown Treatment plant until earning a Class III license in 2012, at which time the River Ridge Wastewater facility went online and she was the operator n responsible charge for that facility until which time she became the operator in responsible charge for the Town of Sellersburg (2016). The Town of Sellersburg is now and has been her home since 2017. She holds a degree in Applied Science as well as her Class IV operators’ license.
